Quick stop in for a beer, thought we would try the satay chicken skewers for a snack. They were delicious, even gave us a complimentary couple of chicken wings while we waited which were absolutely amazing. Beer was cold and fresh, staff were polite. Recommend.

We came to Toowoomba for the flower festival and stays at Burke & Wills Hotel, Zack’s restaurant is part of the hotel. We had an early dinner tonight, not feel too hungry, we ordered arancini as entree, 3 balls 3 different favours, great taste, southern fired chicken burger and crumble fish as main to share, decent portion and full of favour. Sweet potato chip and chips are enjoyable, friendly and helpful staffs, they bring us 2 chicken wings as complementary at the start Highly recommend Zack’s if you are looking for easy but tasty meal

In Toowoomba on a work trip for two nights and ate at Zacks both nights. After the first night, couldn't go anywhere else. Five of us ate, and every meal was exceptional in quality, size and reasonably priced. The mains going to other tables looked just as good as ours.Scnitzels were big, sri Lankan curry was very good, and the pork sirloin was a really tasty and filling meal ( I had it both nights) Will eat here every visit to toowoomba from now on.

Great food, excellent restaurant and terrific restaurant layout. Would be great for large family celebrations. Special shoutout to Robert down in the pokies. His service levels were fantastic! He was so helpful to everyone. I vote Zack’s #1 in Toowoomba.😊👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch so decided to try Zac's on Ruthven Street. I wanted to share my experience because a place that can cook fish and chips like that should be shared with the world. From the moment we sat down the service set the tone. While we were waiting for our meal, we were brought out two incredibly crunchy wings on the house. They were golden, crisp and full of flavour, a generous and very welcome surprise. We ordered the fish and chips and chose coral trout. The portion was enormous and the fish was exceptionally fresh. The batter was light and crisp without being greasy, and it shattered beautifully with each bite. Inside, the coral trout was flaky, moist and cooked perfectly. It is not easy to get fish that fresh and that well cooked, and they absolutely nailed it. The chips were super crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the centre, exactly how they should be. No soggy edges, no excess oil, just properly cooked chips that complemented the fish perfectly. The salad was far from an afterthought. It included pumpkin, feta and a beautiful dressing that tied everything together. It was fresh, colourful and balanced the richness of the fish and chips really well. We also ordered iced coffees which were generous in size and well made. Not too sweet, not watered down, just smooth and satisfying. Overall, Zac’s delivered far more than we expected for a simple light lunch. Generous portions, quality ingredients and proper attention to detail. We are heading back just to have more of those wings. If you are in Toowoomba and craving fish and chips done properly, this is the place.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Zack's Toowoomba during the festival of flowers. We ordered the rump steak, salt and pepper calamari, and crispy skin salmon. The food was absolutely delicious, with the steak cooked to perfection and the salmon’s crispy skin adding the perfect touch. The portions were generous, the staff were friendly, and the service was impressively quick. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Modern Australian cuisine!

Extraordinary quality all around! A place that doesnt look to see how much they can take out of your pocket for scraps! The food is generous and really devine, down to the details. The cocktails are made with real alchol and quality mixing, not cheap mixers and watered down booze. Real people being real kind! Quality, quality quality!

Came here during a work trip and it is absolutely absurd how good the lunch steak was. You would probably think a pub steak lunch would be average or a bit how you going but this was up there as the best steak lunch you can get. Devo it's only in Toowoomba, makes me want to come back to try the higher tier steaks!

Had a lovely dinner! Service was quick and place was clean. We ordered pork ribs and the buffalo wings and both were delicious. The buffalo wings had a great kick to them but weren’t too spicy - I only wish there was more blue cheese sauce to dip them in (but who doesn’t?). We also got two complimentary wings (honey soy, I think) which was a welcome and tasty surprise! Afterwards we had the honeycomb parfait to share which was a light dessert, not too sweet, and decaf coffee which was also lovely. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and are hoping to come back sometime to try their steaks which have come highly recommended!

The food was well presented and tasted really good. My steak cooked beautifully. The service is also on point. Staff were helpful and professional. I would definitely go back when visiting Toowoomba again.
